vote guy
i take the long view, having lived and worked in the community for most of my life. I am honored to serve in order to ensure the town we know and love remains that way.
our town
the soul of san anselmo
Over the last 50 years San Anselmo has enjoyed a relatively steady population density. Thanks in part to current development standards San Anselmo is still winning the hearts of residents, businesses, and visitors alike. However, this might change. Today we are facing an unprecedented push for development from Sacramento that can impact our quality of life and climate change goals. As a creative and engaged community, we need to work together to manage change. I will listen to your suggestions, concerns, and aspirations, so that the town we all know and love remains just that. With your support, I will protect the soul and character of San Anselmo.
oUR PARKs
it takes a village
Thanks to the vision of the Town and public space stewards, we enjoy beautiful natural areas and scenic vistas. In my role as Town Councilman, we will build on this vision by encouraging community-driven stewardship, citizen science efforts, and greater involvement across our schools and other institutions. Our green spaces are unique destinations for truly ‘public’ space design, care, and activation. Real change begins in our own backyard, starting with how we think, act, and relate to our public spaces.
our future
what sort of place do you want to live in?
In 2022 the median household income was $165,366 compared to $71,488 in 2000. As the income gap widens, we must be mindful that the Town works for people of all stripes, be it homeowners, prospective homeowners, renters, established businesses and start-ups. I will encourage an audit of planning department codes, fines and fair practices in order to reduce unnecessary burdens and ensure we are promoting an even playing field and place of stability for all. We will explore affordable housing solutions including recommendations from the State, such as repurposed building stock, exploring and encouraging co-op buying and living. As Town Council, I will push for a new level of public engagement and inclusivity in order to ensure the future of San Anselmo is in fact determined by the citizens of San Anselmo.
